Although Dr. Henricks firmly believes that HBOT should be a standard of care therapy, today, insurance companies do not cover any of the conditions that NorthStar Hyperbaric treats successfully. For that reason, NorthStar Hyperbaric does not accept insurance, including Medicare. The cost of your sessions is based on the number of treatments in your program.
Because no two conditions are alike, Dr. Henricks will determine a comprehensive protocol that includes how many HBOT sessions are recommended for optimal results.
Northstar Hyperbaric (HBOT)
There will be a fee for initial patient evaluation for HBOT and a recovery plan (call office for price). Please note that insurance does not reimburse this evaluation because they do not cover the treatment.
HBOT treatments are pro-rated based on the number of treatments and the treatment protocol (what the conditions calls for). As an example, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) requires a minimum of 40 HBOT treatments.
*HBOT sessions run one hour. Full payment is due at the time of service.
Reimbursement for unused treatments will be based on the number of treatments you received.
PEMF treatments include a brief initial assessment with Dr. Henricks, as well as a treatment plan. PEMF treatments are never covered by insurance. PEMF is sold as a protocol of 10-treatments.
NorthStar Neurology
Please understand that Medicare cannot reimburse you for an appointment because Dr. Henricks has opted-out of the Medicare network completely.
