What is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)?

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, also known as HBOT, is the use of 100% oxygen (under pressure) to promote healing for various conditions.

How many times do I need HBOT?

Different conditions may call for a different number of sessions and treatment protocol. During your initial consult, Dr. Henricks creates a comprehensive HBOT treatment plan to follow specific to your needs.

Why doesn't NorthStar Hyperbaric take insurance, especially Medicare?

Unfortunately, insurance plans, including Medicare, do not cover the conditions that NorthStar Hyperbaric has successfully treated.

What can I expect at an HBOT session?

Relaxation! You have an hour-long session in our hyperbaric chamber either sitting or lying down while breathing pure oxygen (under pressure). You can bring a book to read or just relax.
